Our client, a networking technology solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Juniper Network Engineer for a six-week contract. While the role is based out of Natick, MA, we are open to considering a remote arrangement for an exceptionally qualified candidate. The ideal individual will be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Juniper network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network environments using a wide range of Juniper devices.
• Implement and maintain high-performance network solutions, ensuring stability and security.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define network requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide expert-level support for network issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Juniper QFX, EX, and SRX series devices is an absolute must-have.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of security principles and firewall policies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
